ARBITRATION
'Arbitration' is the determination of a matter in dispute by the judgment of one or more persons, called arbitrators, who in case of difference usually call in an 'umpire' to decide between them.
An 'arbitration agreement' is the one by which the parties to that agreement agree to submit future or present disputes to arbitration for settlement.
In India, such disputes as covered by an arbitration agreement are governed by Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.
We have a successful track-record of contesting as well as defending arbitral disputes at various levels. We are capable of handling any arbitral reference independently on turnkey basis. Our services include - drafting and/or validating the contents of an arbitration agreement; preparing claim statement, statement of defence, affidavits, conducting cross-examination of witnesses, etc.
Should the situation so demand, we can represent our clients in appropriate courts of jurisdiction for getting an arbitral dispute referred to an arbitrator under the relevant provisions of Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.
